“Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves,” not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.”

Tina Emrick,

Children’s Coordinator

I am Tina Emrick, aka John’s wife, Joey, Andrew, Jonathan, Jennifer, and Michael’s mom.   I met and married my husband here when the church was known as Minerva Park Church of Christ.  We served together here in the youth department as volunteers for many years. We also felt led to serve at Rose Hill Church of Christ, and Grace Brethren before returning to what is now North Park Church of Christ. In 2005 I began overseeing the youth department and am currently  the Children’s Ministry Coordinator . I love the Lord with all my heart and it is my desire to share His love with the children of North Park  and ultimately the world.  Our elementary departments theme is “Learn It, Live It, Share It”.  Being not just hearers, but doers of the word.

Jeanie Cheeseman,

Office Manager

I am a retired educator, athletic coach and lover of the Lord! While I am new as the Office Manager at North Park Church of Christ, I have been an active member at North Park and Northeast Church of Christ in Ohio and First Christian Church of Lake Wales in Florida my entire life. The Lord has blessed me with the spiritual gifts of administration, preaching, teaching and craftsmanship. That, along with my love and passion for Him and for serving others, makes quite a savory combination in the office…never a dull moment.

Kevin McDade,

I was born in Beaver Falls, PA. I have one brother and my family lived in Columbiana, Ohio, before moving to Florida. I graduated and worked with my brother as an electrician. After moving back to Ohio, I attended Lake Mount Church of Christ where my father was an elder. I met, fell in love with and married my wife, Tammy, who had three young children. Through the last 23 years I have enjoyed teaching, loving, and being there for my children as they grew; whether it was teaching Mandy to drive, enjoying hot wings with Stacey, shooting guns at targets with B.J. or the many fun family activities, I always will, and will continue to, enjoy being with them.

Tammy and I love spending time together and we have always worked hard together. Keeping God in the center of our marriage has helped us get through the tough times, but also enjoy the many blessings God has given us.  We moved to the Columbus, Ohio, area after the last child graduated. We found our church family at North Park Church of Christ and I, following in my father’s footsteps, became an elder here.

We have ten grandchildren whom we love with all our hearts and have enjoyed being a big part of their lives. I felt so blessed and happy every time one of my children or grandchildren were baptized and I was blessed to have baptized four of my grandchildren at North Park. I have enjoyed vacationing with Tammy and our family.  We now reside in Blacklick and our home is the hub for many family functions. I give God the glory for all the many blessing I have.
